- Good results of using collagen membranes in long ureter strictures repair in dog model inspired doctor A. Koziak in 1980 to use the same technique and material in man.

- Short and long-term evaluation of the technique and material - collagen graft, used in long ureter stricture repair in 35 y.o. man (1980).
- results
- Controlled urographies during 23 years showed no stricture recurrence. At RTG-TV urography (live x-ray monitoring) peristaltic wave in the operated ureter segment was observed.
- conclusions
- The technique and used material proved in short and long-term follow-up their usefulness, fulfilled hopes, contributed to cure disability of the urinary tract and saved the kidney.
