The Polish Journal of Urology
(Urologia Polska
) is an official, peer-review, and scientific quarterly of the Polish Urological Association (PTU) pointed by KBN (Index Copernicus). The objective of "The Polish Journal of Urology"; is to provide a forum for the presentation of original clinical or experimental findings in urology and its subspecialities and for the discussion integrating viewpoints of the Polish and foreign urologists. It has been published since 1949. Prof. Emil Michałowski was the first editor of the journal. Currently prof. dr hab. Marek Sosnowski holds the post.
Special number of "The Polish Journal of Urology" marked Supplement 1 containing Symposium Papers given as a part of symposia at annual Polish Urological Association Scientific Meeting is published each year.
"The Polish Journal of Urology" is submitted to all members of PTU, subscribers as well as to foreign urologists cooperating with the Association.
