summary

The authors reviewed the results of ultrasonographic examinations of the prostate carried out in 75 patients with chronic Prostatitis. USG examination was done using a Bruel-Kjaer apparatus with a rotating rectal probe. Particular attention is called to evident changes in the prostatic capsule which have not yet been described.
