summary

A rare case of L-shaped kidney in a 20-years old man was described. He suf-
fered from the abdominal pain. The final diagnosis was the pyclic stone in the
left ectopic kidney. The left kidney was situated transversally in front of the spinal
column and fused with the lower pole of the typical placed right kidney. The left
renal pelvis was displaced on the right side. The right lumbotomy was performed
and the left pyelic stone was easily removcd without any complications.
