summary

A method of treatment by chemotherapy according to an own schedule, with Vepesid and 5-fluorouracil in cases of advanced prostatic carcinoma is reported, with the results assessed by own criteria of therapeutic effects including the pa­rameters of objective improvement and criteria assessing the general efficiency of the organism. A high proportion of remissions was obtained, but the final eva-luatiom of this method will require langer follow-up and greater number of cases.
