Results of treatment of patients with embryonal non-seminoma testicular tumours in stage T1, p NO, MO in the light of 21 cases

summary

In the period from 1974 to 1980 114 patients with embryanal testicular tumours were treated, including 85 cases of non-seminoma tumours. In the latter group 2,1 patients were classified as having stage Tl, p NO, MO. Hemistration and retro-perdtoneal lymphadenectomy was done in them and some patients were given additionally chemotherapy. Twenty patients were followed up for from 4 months to 8 years (16 over one year) and 18 are alive without evidence of metastases.
