Cystoscopy was perfowned for the first time May flrtJh 1979 at the meeting of the Imipenial-Royal Medical Association in Vienna. Cystoscope has oootijibuted greatly to the developmenit ?f urology and to separation of this specAaldty from surgery. The paper wais wmiltten on the centenary of this event.
