A case of the forty one years old patient with crossed ectopy of right kidney (crossed renal ectopia) is presented (CRE). We

present this report, considering that occurrence of this defect is a rather rare case. It is estimated that it occurs at a rate

ranging from 0.05 to 0.1%. Diagnosing of CRE is not difficult, and in establishing diagnosis the following methods are useful:

ultrasonography, computer tomography, intravenous urography and scintigraphy of kidneys. This anomaly in most cases

has an asymptomatic course and diagnosis is sometimes incidental. Symptoms are not characteristic caused by dysuria, infection

or urolithiasis and it should be remembered because it may be the cause of misdiagnoses and unnecessary decisions on

operative treatment.
