summary

We present a girl who suffered damage to the urethral sphincter system and subse±uent obliteration of the urethra in the result of a serious traffic accident. Continent vesicoileocutaneo-stomy was performed with creation of a valvular mechanism preventing spontaneous leakage of urine from the bladder and enabling self-catheterization.
