summary

The author presents his opinion on the value of Juyar's teniporary, hemostatic suture in prostatectomy. He discusses its advantages and describes certain principles which should be observed using this suture. SDme compli­cations seen in patients are also described. The author advocates the use of teniporary hemo­static suture in prostatectomy regarding pa­tients state, problens with auxillary staff. Prostatectomy being a basie urological ope­ration should be as simple and safe as pos-sible.
