summary

The authors describe a very rarely observed development anomaly: crossed displacement of the left testicle with bilateral cryptorchism in a boy aged 6 years.
The operation with replacement of both testicles into the scrotum on the left and right side is described in detail. Data from the perti-nent literature are discussed.
