summary

Abstract. From 29.07.1998 to 20.12.2000 forty six laparoscopic retroperitoneal ilio-obturatory lymphadenctoniy were performed in patients with prostate adenocarcinoma, initially qualified to radical teleradiotherapy. Surgical approach was obtained with Gaur\'s balloon. Median duration of the procedure was 73 minutes (from 35 to 130 minutes). Mean number of removed lymph nodes was 7,4. Metastasis was fined in 8 cases. Mean period of hospitalisation was shorter than 3 days. Complications was observed in 6 cases: injury of the bladder (closed by laparoscopy during the same operation) - 1 patient, suppuration of the trocar wound -1 patient, scrotal haematoma (absorbed spontanously) -1 patient, lymphocoele, evacuated by one USG controlled puncture- 3 patient. No major complication was observed.
Laparoscopic retroperitoneal ilio-obturatory lymphadnectomy appeared a safe and well tolerated method to effectively obtain material for histologic examination of ilio-obturatory lymph nodes.
