summary

Objective. Aim asscsment is efficiency of treatment renal cysts by percutaneous puncture and instillation select sclero-ting agents.
Material and methods. 191 patients with simple renal cysls were treated by percutaneous puncture between 1986 and 1998. After cyst aspiration, injection of scleroting agents was performed in 105 patients with 96% ethanol or 200 nig (2 ml) of Vibramycin in 86 patients. Results after 1 and 5 years were analysed.
Results. After 1 year the cysts grew in 36 of patients (41.8%) with Vibramycin injection and in 25 (23.8) with 96% alkohol injection. After 5 years cysts grew in 48.8% patients with Vibramycin and 26.6% ethanol instillation.
Conclusion. Usage 96% ethanol as sclerosing agent gave better results. The difference is statistical essential.
