summary

The authors have presented their own experience of the treatment of patients
with adenoma of prostate and non-bacterial chronic Prostatitis with the use of
transurethral thermotherapy by Urotherm device.
They have provided their attitude towards ±ualifications of this method of treatment.
Good results have been achieved in 70% of patients due to obeying the rules of
±ualifications. They have defined TUMT method as satisfying the treatment of patients
suffering from adenoma of the prostate and chronic Prostatitis, but not as competitive
to the other methods.
