summary
- The patient aged 64 was presented with the symptoms of epididymitis and impaired
- voiding. After standard antibiotic treatment enlargement of his right testis persists and
- because the ultrasound examination revealed changes in the testis he was qualified to
- scrotal orchidectomy and trans-vesical adenomectomy. During the operation testis
- apeared to be infiltrated by a tumor arising from the hilum of the testis. On
- histopathology evaluation the tumor was found to be carcinoma of rete testis. The
- patient was then closely followed up for over three years without any signs of recurrence.
