summary

Among 16 patients who underwent extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
we evaluated the contents of total proteins, (i-NAG, albumins, a-1-microglobulins and
IgG in urine samples. We found the significant increase of all evaluated, protein compo-
nents immediately after ESWL.
During second 24 hours, period of the obsewation we found higher concentration of
albumin and IgG than before ESWL. 7 Days and 3 weeks after ESWL contents of all
evaluated proteins in urine were no differ than before ESWL. The presence of evaluated
proteins in urine samples is probably connected with the damage of renal blood yessels
and different nephron structures.
