- A 44-year-old patient was admitted to hospital with pains in her right lumbar area, right-sided hydronephros, progressing weakness and raised body temperature. Histological examination of a tissue fragment taken during the operation demonstrated endometriosis. Good results were obtained after treatment with hormones and cytostatics.
