summary

The raport is based on 16 years of follow-up of 37 patients after torsion of the appendages of the testicle and epididymis which accounted for 24.2% of all cases treated for intrascrotal torsions. In 35 cases the treatment was surgical. Cli­nical manifestations, problems of differential diagnosis and therapeutic manage­ment are discussed.
