summary

Changes, that is increase or decrease, of urological mortality were analysed in Poland over a period of 15 years and proposals are suggested for improving these results. The increase of mortality was observed in renal infections and renal, vesical, prostatic and testicular neoplasms, while the death rate related to renouretral urolithiasis, prostatic adenoma and urogenital tuberculosis has de­creased. Mortality related to penile carcinoma and congenital anomalies was un-changed.
