summary

Out of 180 patients with embryonal testicular tumours in three cases the tu­mour was bilateral. Attention is called to the fact that the risk of tumour de-yelopment in the contralateral gonad is much greater (about 800 times) than in men without testicular tumours. The supposition is put forward that an idividual predisposition for malignant transformation of germinative epithelium may exist.
