summary

Sixteen patients are analysed in whom bladder tumours situated in the ureteral orifice (group I) and 11 with tumours situated in its direct vicinity (group II) were removed by electroresection. In 11 cases vesicoureteral reflux developed (75%) in group I, and in only one case (9.9%) in group II. Stricture of the ureteral orifice was not observed. Presence of vesicoureteral reflux had no effect on the postoperative course.
