summary

The results are described of peat poultice treatment of patients with plastic induration of the penis. In the period 1978?1985 45 cases were treated in this way, including 12 cases treated repeatedly. One patient had Gallizia's triad, and 3 had Dupuytren's disease. Their age ranged from 25 to 68 years. Thirty-eight (80,%) pa­tients came for follow-up examination. Full cure (induration disappearance, regres­sion of curvature and pain) was obtained in 7 (26.9%) patients treated only once, and in 7 (58.33%) treated twice.
