summary

In 12 preparations of horsesiioe kidneys the calycopelvie and vascular systems were studied. Most kidneys were supplied by three renal arteries ? light, left and lower coming off from the abdominal aorta. The clasisification into segmental vessels and their topography were analysed with respect to the calycopelvic sy­stems. The materiał was discussed with regard to the surgical procedures carried out on horseshoe kidneys.
