summary

The possifoility os using computer tomogiraphy use far the evaluation of uro-graphically inactive kidney and the (bed of the kidney after nephrectomy. Com­puter tamogiraphy -was done in 78 patients, including 42 after nephrectomy, 27 with uirographically inactive one kidney and in 9 with renal failure. The diag-nostic effectiveness of the method was high {96.1%>). The high value of 4he me­thod is stressed espeoialły in evaluating the bed of the kidney after nephrecto­my, in searohing for inflammatory changes or recurrence of renal neoplasm, and in tracing the dynamics of changes dewloping in the bed of the kidney after ne­phrectomy during treatment.
