For oheokdmg the seainit naparte on coexisitence of aurioular and urogenital malformations the authors exa;md'ned the auricles in two groups of 100 siubjeets each. In the subjeets with urogenital anomailies minor auricular defonmittas were over twioe as freąuent as in the Control group without these anomalies. The urinary system was examined also in 32 patients with auricular hypoplasia. In 11 of them renal anomalies were discolosed and ? quite unexpectedly?19 of them had lumbo-sacral spinał anomalies. The Control group comprised 100 subjeets with normal auricles. The results were subjeoted to statistioal analysis conefirming the sdgni-ficanttly more freąuent oceurrence of renal anomalies and lumbosacral spinał mal-formations in patients with auricular hypoplasia than in the whole population. No correlation was found between the ooourrenice of these anomalies and sex, there were also no oornelations between the sdde of the euricular anomaly and renal anomaly, and the type of auricular anomaly and the type of renal or lumibosacral spinał anomaly.
