Urinary bladder paraganglioma is a rare tumour and due to its rarity, diagnostic and therapeutic approach is not well established. We report a case of paraganglioma of the urinary bladder. A 21-year old woman who presented with a history of nonspecific symptoms like headache and lividity of lips associated with micturition. CT scan and cystostoscopy were performed and a partial cystectomy was undertaken. Pathologic diagnosis of urinary bladder paraganglioma was done. A review of the literature is presented and pathogenetic, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of this tumour are discussed.
