In the Oncology Centre in Cracow in the period 1982—1989 six adult patients were treated for Wilms tumour. The clinical findings, treatment and results are presented. The prognosis of Wilms tumour in adults is much worse than in children, despite identical microscopic pattern and similarly intensive combined surgical, radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment
