summary

Introduction. Target of this research was the evaluation of the superficial bladder cancer detection by fluorescent method with Hypericine dyeing in comparison to the traditional cystoscopy with mucousa mapping.
Patients and Method. To the tested group was joined 23 patients with recurrence superficial bladder cancer. The patients were administered to the bladder 150 ml of the solution with 150 meg. Hypericine about 130 minutes before cycloscopy, which was proceed in white and ultraviolet light. During the operation all pathological changes visible in the white light and red shining in ultraviolet light were removed. At the end of operation there was taken a sample cutting from the bladder.
Results. Fluorescent cystoscopy with Hypericine dyeing has improved about 20% the detection ability of the cancer or dysplastic changes in the blader. In the group with Hypericine dyeing the specificity was 100% and sensitivity 90%.
Conclusions. Fluorescent method of investigation by using Hypercine increases the chance of the bladder cancer detection. Hypericine has proved good enough sensitivity and specificity in cancer detection. It turns to be the relatively easy procedure of dyeing and good fluorescent of changes in the bladder.
