summary

The paper presents a problem of penis carcinoma, the ethiology of which is connected with human papilloma virus (HPV) inflammation.
In pre-cancer stages and in cases of penis carcinoma the necessity of a virusological investigation of the patient\'s sexual partners is emphasized. Such virusological investigation as well as cooperation with gynaecologists in diagnosing penis cancer, may lead to early diagnosis of cancer lesions in sexual partners. In discussing the treatment of HPV inflammation it is emphasized that this should be as uninvasive as possible.
