summary

The authors present the results of an inąuiry investigation of 600 patients with nephrolithiasis and 200 patients with bronchial asthma con-cerning their modę of nutrition and other elements of their way of life.
It is concluded that the patients with nephro­lithiasis drank on the average more fluid than the Control group. It was not found that, apart from the amount of locomotor activity, other elements of the way of life or nutrition played any role in the course of nephrolithiasis. The authors suggest that patients with this disease should not be advised to drink more than it is sufficient to quench thirst.
