- The authors report own experiences with performing of arteriovenous fistulae in patients with Chronic renal failure. In 11 patients 20 subcutaneous arteriovenous fistulae were created including 13 with the end of the artery sutured to the side of the vein 5 end-to-end anasto-
- moses, 1 side-to-side and 1 with displacement of the major saphenous vein. The technique of the most fraquent procedurę is described and the usefulness of peritoneal dialyses be-fore the operation for improving the condition of the patient is stressed.
