- The occurrence of the primary renal carcinoid tumor is very rare. The authors present
- a case of a patient who underwent radical nephrectomy due to a tumor of the kidney
- pT2V0N0M0 (1° of Robson stage).
- Histologic and immunohistochemic studies revealed the structure of the carcinoid.
- Comprehensive diagnostic procedures confirmed the primary origin of the tumor in the
- kidney. Pathology, symptomatology, treatment and prognosis of such a neoplasm is
- discussed.
