URETEROCELE WITH COMPLETELY DUPLICATED URETER DIAGNOSIS AND SURGICAL MANAGEMENT

summary

Objective. From 1977 until 1994 18 children with ureterocele and completely
duplicated ureters were treated in our department.
Material and methods. Upper pole heminephrectomy was performed in 11 children.
Out of then total ureterectomy was done. Total reconstruction with excision of the
ureterocele and reimplantation of the lower pole ureter was performed in 7 children. In 3
children folding procedure of the megaureter was als done also.
