summary

The authors analysed 29 patients treated for non-seminoma testicular tumours in the years 1979?1984. In the first stage high amputation of the testis was done and the retroperitoneal lymph nodes were removed. Supplementary chemotherapy, radiotherapy or combined treatment depended on the presence of metastases in these lymph nodes. In 27 cases followed up on an outpatient basis no recurrences of the tumour were observed.
