Cryosurgical treatment of prostatic adenoma and carcinoma

summary

The results of cryosurgical treatment were analysed in 60 patients with pro­static adenoma or carcinoma. Good results were obtained in 38 patients and poor in 13. Complications developed in 3 cases. Six patients died within the first 2 weeks after the operation. The Indications, methods of treatment and complications were discussed. The own results were compared with those of other authors.
