summary

Three patients with bilateral renal carcinoma are described who were trea­
ted surgically. In one patient metastasis of the tumour to the contralateral kid­
ney developed after 6 years. The patient died 6 months after removal of renal tu­
mour. The remaining two patients survived one year after tre operation, without
remote metastases.
