summary
- Material and methods. Uretreocalicostomy had been done in 2 patients as the
- primary operation and in 11 patients as secondary because of complications
- subse±uent to a primary operation in shape of the ureteropelvic obstruction
- or urinary fistula.
- Results. At 2 (16%) patients after performing of primary ureterocalicostomy
- the good results of operation had been gained. At 11 (84%) patients after performing
- the secondary ureterocalicostomy we had gained the satisfactory results at 7
- 63.6%) patients who were demonstrated good renal function. In 4 (36.4%
- it was necessary to perform nephrectomy.
- Conclusions. 1. Ureterocalicostomy is the method of choice in case without
- possibility of anatomical ureteropeMc reconstruction. 2. The best results were
- gained at patients at whom anastomosis had been performed primary and in
- patients operated 2 to 6 months after the first operation.
