- introduction
- One of the methods to treat profound dysfunction of the urinary bladder is its augmentation. There are only few reports on ureter reconstructions in children. The authors were not able to find publications on simultaneous bladder and ureter reconstruction in small children using ileum.

- Estimating distant results of surgical treatment of neurogenic bladder in a 2-years old child, consisting in reconstruction of the bladder and ureter using ileum.

- Described case supported by 8 years of follow-up indicates that the bladder and ureter reconstruction using ileum is possible in a small child without metabolic or surgical complications.
