We report 3 cases of rare renal tumor: sarcomatoid renal cell carcinoma. Presence of sarcomatoid component represents high-grade

transformation in different types of renal cell carcinoma. Clinical course is characterized by rapid disease progression and poor prognosis.

We indicate that these tumors show different clinical and pathological characteristics. Even a small component of sarcomatoid

transformation portends a worse prognosis so this finding always should be noted in pathological report.
