Introduction.
Urethral injuries belong to rare urogenital trauma in children as well as in adult. The incidence of urethral injury is the highest in boys. The aim of the study. This report presents the diagnostic and treatment procedures of patients with urethral injury. Material and method. The paper presents cases of 7 children (5 boys and 2 girls) treated for blunt urethral trauma from 1996 to 2005. Diagnostic, treatment and its results were described. The main symptoms of urethral injury were inability to urinate and blood at the urethral meatus. The X-ray diagnostic and cystoscopy were performed. In all cases non operative treatment was successful.
Results.
Results were well and none urinate malfunction was observed.
