summary

Among many non-conventional methods of treatment of benign prostatic tumour, local microwave hyperthermia is the main method used both transrectally and transurethrally in urological Clinic of Warsaw Military Medical Academy. This method has been used in this Clinic since 1988. The paper presents results of hyperthermia methods in 44 patients. In 50% of the patients, positive results have been observed, both in subjective and objective miction parameters.
