The method of management of bleeding from the site of prostatectomy or after operations on the bladder neck is described. A baloon catheter is introduced into the bladder and filled with a large volume of fluid. Now a strip of adhesive tape is fixed onto the catheter so that it presses the baloon against the site of prostatectomy and bladder neck. Using this method the author could Control in some cases bleeding from the bladder. One of these cases is described for illustration.
