urinary tract urolithiasis stone matrix proteins

summary

The significance of the urinary stone matrix connected with origin and
growth of urinary stone is still unclear. The aim of the study is to determinate
the study is to determinate the gravimetry of proteins creating the urinary
stone matrix.
Matherial and method. 17 urinary stones that were obtained from patients
treated in our department were dialized and analyzed using columnar
chromatography Superdex 75. The urinary stones were also subjected to X-ray
phase analysis using X-ray diffractometer Siemens D 5000.
Results. We observe three kinds of urinary stones.
1. Containing proteins above 60 kDa.
2. Containing proteins since 10 to 60 kDa.
3. Containing proteins to 10 kDa.
Conclusion. The dimensions of the proteins are not the same in different
urinary stones matrix. Urinary stones contain different ±uantity of proteins
in the stones matrix.
