In this paper has been introduced an eminent Polish urologist, Doctor of

Medicine Wacław Lilpop (1884-1949), the second head of Urology Department

at the previously Przemienienie Pańskie in Praga Hospital and the first

Chairman of the Polish Urology Society, of which he was one of the oryginał

founders. His basic methods and approach to his work have been analysed

as have descriptions of certain of his operations and pioneering healing

methods.
