- is sufficient According to the author, all patients can be submitted to ERS without re-gard to the size of prostatic adenoma. Hyper-trophy of prostatic adenoma is divided by the author into four stages. During the operation the time length of ERS is important.
- Prolongation of the procedurę may lead to development of postresection syndrome which is connected with a considerable risk to the life of the patient. The author describes the techni±ue of ERS in detail and gives practical indications concerning the management of patients having besides prostatic adenoma stones or tumour in the bladder. After ERS 10 patients died (0.45%)-
