summary

Two cases of chylous ascites secondary to lymph node dissection for testicular tumors
are reported. Chylous ascites appeared 3 days and 6 weeks after operation. Managment
options include drainage of ascites fluid from an abdominal drain, dietary restriction of
fat, administraction of medium chain triglycerides and diuretics. Patients were managed
succesfully by dietary treatment. Expectant management last 4 weeks in the first patient
and 3 weeks in the second one.
