summary

The case of 43-years old man with advanced prostate cancer is presented in
whom bilateral orchiectomy was performed as a part of treatment programme.
The symptoms of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) occured during
the postoperative period. The clinical manifestations and treatment are discussed.
