summary

The effect of lithium carbonate on the leucocyte and neutrophil counts was evaluated in the peripheral blood of patients treated with Cytostatic agents for urogenital neoplasms. It was found that this drug was effective in preventing and treating neutropenia caused by chemotherapy. No important side effects were observed.
