summary

Methods of operative management undertaken for removing siubvesical ob­stacles in patients with damage to the spinal cord and nerve roots are discussed. The indications to and the type of the transurethral procedures are established mainly according to the results of Urodynamic investigations and micturition cysto­urethrography. The correlations are discussed between the fre±uency of these pro­cedures and their combinations, on the one hand, and the degree and level of cord and root damage, age and sex, and the time between damage devlopment and operation, on the other hand. A favorable effect was demonstrated of removal of subvesical obstacle on the cessation of vesicoureteral reflux and vesicorenal reflux.
