summary

The authors made a quantitative analysis of blood flow in the left testicular vein by means of quantitative dynamic scrotal scaning (QDSS) in 40 infertile men with vericoceles. Intraoperative venograms enabled to verify the results of QDSS examination.
The authors also evaluated basic parameters of sperm in patients after the surgery on the testicular vein. The authors suggest their own clinical classification of varicoceles. It was shown that QDSS examination enables a precise evaluation of blood flow in the left testicle before and after surgery. QDSS examination was also made in a Control group of 25 men without clinical symptoms of varicoceles and with normal parameters of sperm.
